From Savannah

When Mia finally comes home, I can't wait to....
Teach her to swim with swimmies in the pool when we go to the beach
Teach her how to ride bikes, trikes, anything with wheels
Teach her Uno
Teach her the ABC's
Play teacher with her
Teach her how to stay away from Rubles, the dog
Teach her how to play basketball
Read Robert Munsch books to her
Teach her how to read
Let her know how fun and wild Bonnie is!
Let her in our secret hide out
Watch her in the church nursery instead of going to big church
Play hide and seek
Teach her little tender heart to be tougher
Introduce her to pepperoni pizza and cookie dough ice cream at Tastee Freeze
Buy her baby clothes at Target
Listen to her walking in squeakie shoes
Getting pictures of all three of us in Chinese clothes
Wash her dark black silky hair
See her smile and laugh
And when I have 2 sisters, I can
... play more games,
play with a baby,
always have two sisters in case one is playing at a friend's house,
have more birthday parties,
build forts in the house,
sleep all crowded in one bed,
one more room to clean ??,
watch TV together,
play dress-up,
have one more to watch on our special trips with our grandparents,
add another one to the bathtub...

45 Days Down
And that means only 20 days until we can begin hounding the post office for our LOA. Time is creeping along, slowly... The latest LID we have seen for LOA's so far is 2/25 and we are 3/19. So it MIGHT be that 65 days is a good estimate!

39 Days
That's all! 39 Days and counting to the LOA! It feels like time passes slowly - you try not to think about it and then you realize it is all you can think about!

In As Much

All week long, I had talked with Kevin about wishing I could apply a Bible verse to our blog. I knew the verse would have to be a certain one... and I could only remember a few words... "the least of them". Yesterday, we were doing an outreach for church and pulled the brand new tee-shirts out of the bag to put on for the day. After looking all week for the verse, and not being able to find it - there it was printed brightly on the back of our new blue shirts!

One Month LID
One month ago today, CCAA (China Adoption Affairs) logged in our dossier. It was amazing that it was logged in so quickly because it was not ready to be picked up by UPS in Charleston until the 14th of March and then logged in 5 days later. Some dossiers take two weeks to log in.... every day matters in the wait for the next step. We are so thankful!
